BH Live has published its autumn and winter What's On guide for the Bournemouth International Centre and the Pavilion, and it is a strong season for a town of this size. The guide, announced on the Pavilion's site, runs from the autumn into the new year.
The music
Katherine Jenkins celebrates 25 years with an anniversary tour date at the Pavilion in October. The BIC's bigger hall takes The Script, Culture Club and Ocean Colour Scene, with Westlife's 25 years of hits tour and Squeeze with special guest Billy Bragg later in the season. Exact dates and tickets are on the BH Live listings; the Westlife night is the one to book first.
The comedy
Jack Whitehall, Mo Gilligan and Romesh Ranganathan all have dates in the guide. Comedy at the BIC and Pavilion tends to sell to a local crowd, so Saturday nights go early.
The panto

Making a night of it
Both venues are on the West Cliff side of the town centre, which is the useful thing about them: the BIC is by the pier approach on Exeter Road, the Pavilion sits beside the Lower Gardens, and the Flexiestays hotels on the West Cliff are a short walk from either.
